"Make Light Matter " @ Lichtstammtisch am 05.05.2021

Diesmal war und Neina Sheldon aus England zugeschaltet. Sie hat ihre Initiative „Make Light Matter“ https://www.makelightmatter.co.uk/ vorgestellt und zum Thema „Light Nutrition – Licht als Teil einer gesunden Lebensweise, ein weiterer Baustein neben gesunder Ernährung und Sport“ referiert.

Das Ziel – überprofessioneller Wissenstransfer für alle – Laien und Experten – zugunsten eines neuen Bewusstseins für Tages- und Kunstlicht als Teil einer gesunden Lebensführung und zur Förderung von Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden

Besonders spannen war aus meiner Sicht für die Licht-Professionellen unter uns, wie Neina das Thema als Betroffene erschließt, kommuniziert und sich für eine breite öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit für das Thema Licht einsetzt, danke dafür!

Das kann uns nur zuträglich sein!

This time, Neina Sheldon from „Make Light Matter“ https://www.makelightmatter.co.uk/ joined us from England to talk about „Light Nutrition – Light as part of a healthy lifestyle, another building block alongside healthy nutrition and sport“.
The goal – supra-professional knowledge transfer for all – lay people and experts – in favour of a new awareness of daylight and artificial light as part of a healthy lifestyle and to promote health and well-being.
It was especially interesting for the lighting professionals among us to see this subject mirrored from the perspective of those affected (download below.
Neina’s way of creating a public awareness for how everyone can support his / her own health with the support of (day-) light at the right time is an important step in really learning to appreciate the value of good (day-)light! The more people are conscious of this – the better for us lighting designers.
